Manage the machines, and that needs a super or quantum computing brain. So unless one is passionate, they should no more try to join the IT industry instead go in some core areas.

Yes, that is true for any saturated industry. One shop only pursue singing as a career only if he/she is passionate about singing and a very good singer. Now IT is no different.
