As schools around the country debate how to reopen safely, a growing number of Catholic schools — already facing declining enrollments and donations from before the pandemic — are shutting down for good. About 150 Catholic schools have closed, said Kathy Mears, the director of the National Catholic Educational Association, equal to about 2 percent of the 6,183 schools that were up and running last year. The number of closures is at least 50 percent higher this year than in previous years, Ms. Mears said. As the percentage of practicing Catholics has declined across the United States, so has the number of children enrolling in Catholic schools. Enrollment for the 2019-20 school year was down to about 1.7 million.

I studied a couple of years of my high school in a catholic liceo and they do a terrible job. There is not much of a difference between those schools and any other. Discipline, religious education, teaching by example, etc. nothing remarkable to report.

That's Good. Why to go to school? It's not necessary at all. Students are learning science and history there and started questioning my own existence. It's better for those students to avoid going to school. Otherwise I will have to punish them for their atheistic thinking. I know their are many obedient and loyal students who keep believing in me even after learning all science and history. They will surely come to heaven. Remember my words- “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29)
