Kayra Loves Peanut Cookies, And I'm Gonna Make Those

IMG_2141_jpg.jpeg

Hello everyone,
I think its very long time no see you guys. Lately, I'm busy doing something, one of which is upgrading myself physically and mentally. Many things have changed, especially in terms of being more patient and humble. Besides that, there are several books that I read to make myself more positive. One of them is the skill that I built especially in cooking.

A lot of learning to know what good food is like, because time will go on and also our knowledge must increase. As you know I have a nephew who really likes to eat, he eats whatever he sees, not picky about food. I really like it when he likes my food, it's like wanting to try harder to make him a good meal.

Kayra likes cookies, especially cookies made from peanuts, it's good that she is not allergic to peanuts, but is allergic to eggs. He is very careful with eggs, one day he accidentally ate eggs, the next day his body felt itchy and had bumps around his face.

So I really wanted to make her happy by making peanut cookies without animal products. So I remembered the peanut cookies I made before, but in several different ways so that the taste is more stable and delicious. This peanut cookies has a really authentic taste just like my mom used to make.

Peanut Cookies
The Recipe

Peanut cookies is made from several ingredients that are easy to get, especially if you often shop at the supermarket. You only need 500 gr peanut (which has been cleaned from the brown skin, 250 gr vegetable oil, 150 gr peanut butter (vegan), 100 gr all purpose flour vanilla extract (2 drops only), 150 gr sugar, roasted sesame seeds, egg gloss ( vegan) and 1 tsp salt. You can buy all these ingredients at the nearest market, I only buy them at the traditional market near my house and it's not difficult for me to get.

The way to make it is very easy, slowly with step by step you will get a method that is simple and guaranteed not to fail. But if you fail, you have to try again harder!

First Step

If you get good quality beans, it would be better to dry them for a while or roasting them for 5 minutes or more. Put it in the blender or chopper if you have, you can mash with thor or something, to mash it so it's easy to bite and blend with the other ingredients. It is hoped that this dough will be solid and compact, so it won't scatter easily if eaten.

Second Step

In a large enough bowl, mix the mashed nuts with a blender along with the vegetable oil, you can stir it with both hands that have been thoroughly washed. Then also pour in the peanut butter, all purpose flour, salt and vanilla extract, stir again with your hands until everything is perfectly blended. The point is all the ingredients stir slowly and patiently.

Third Step

Use the mold that you like, I use a perfectly round mold, with a thickness of 3mm so that the peanut cookies are very fragile when bitten. On top of the peanut cookies, I drizzled egg gloss (vegan) and also some toasted sesame flakes, for added flavor. Then bake in a clean, hot oven, around 160 degrees Celsius for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how slightly brown you like it.
