It's funny but the one time I cooked rice in a rice cooker I burned it so I never used it again haha. For me it's easiest on the stove in a pot. I just let it boil then turn it down or off.

I get angry in the small kitchen sometimes but it's a good lesson for me. When I was travelling in Asia and Mexico I had either no kitchen or just a single burner that I bought. One place didn't even have a fridge so I had to get everything fresh every day. At least I don't eat meat. That wouldn't have worked.
