Hello friends,
How are you all? I hope you are happy and healthy. Today i will share a recipe of bitter gourd stir fry. It's one of those dishes that people either love or hate because of its bitter taste. But trust me, with the right techniques and spices, you can turn this bitter gourd into a delicious and flavorful dish that everyone will enjoy. Here's a simple recipe for bitter gourd stir fry.

Ingredients:
🌟 250g bitter gourds (karela),
🌟 1 raw mango
🌟 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
🌟 4 onion, slices chopped
🌟 5-6 garlic cloves
🌟 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
🌟 1 teaspoon coriander powder
🌟 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
🌟 Salt to tast

preparation

🌿 First, let's start the recipe by removing the seeds from the bitter gourd and cutting it, then sprinkle salt on it and set it aside for 4 hours. Sprinkling salt will remove its bitterness. Then rinse it thoroughly in water and place it in a sieve.

🌿 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
🌿 Add chopped onions, garlic and saute until they turn translucent.

🌿 Add the prepared bitter gourd slices to the pan and mix well

🌿 Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, raw mango slices and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.

🌿 Cover and cook on low to medium heat until the bitter gourds are tender, stirring occasionally. It may take around 15-20 minutes.

🌿 Once the bitter gourds are cooked.

🌿 Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
🌿 Your biyter gourd stir fry is now ready to be served hot with roti or rice. Enjoy your meal!
