I wish you an excellent evening friends of vegan food and desserts, I hope everyone is well, today I want to share with you a new recipe; It is a homemade tomato sauce, easy and economical, being in season and its best time is now, take advantage of buying two kilos of tomato and have it ready to place the various daily dishes.

Excellent option to enjoy this sauce already prepared and becomes a strong flavor with contrast between acid and sweet the next day when stored in the refrigerator, this becomes an ideal condiment to accompany meals, for me it is a vital ingredient.

Les deseo una excelente noche amigos de la comida y postres veganos, espero que todos se encuentren bien, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva receta; Se trata de una salsa de tomate casera, fácil y económica, por estar en la temporada y su mejor época es ahora, aproveche de comprar dos kilos de tomate y tenerla preparada para colocar a los distintos platos diarios.

Excelente opción para disfrutar esta salsa ya elaborada y se torna un sabor fuerte con contraste entre ácido y el dulce el día siguiente cuando se guarda en la nevera, esta se vuelve un condimento ideal para acompañar las comidas, para mí es un ingrediente vital.

A continuación le muestro los INGREDIENTES y el paso a paso.


-24 ripe tomatoes
-1 onion
-10 grams of dried basil
-10 grams oregano
-5 cloves of garlic
-4 tablespoons oil
-Enough water
-1 1/2 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon of powdered pepper
-3 tablespoons of sugar

24 tomates maduros
1 cebolla
10 gr de albahaca seca
10 gr de orégano
5 dientes de ajo
4 cucharadas de aceite
Agua suficiente
1 1/2 cucharadita de sal
1 cucharadita de pimienta en polvo
3 cucharadas de azúcar


Preparation-Preparación:𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥 𝕓𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕡:ℙ𝕒𝕤𝕠 𝕒 ℙ𝕒𝕤𝕠:


To begin with, and after preparing all the ingredients, we are going to place the tomatoes in a container with plenty of water, wash them very well, disinfect them, chop each tomato in two and remove all the seeds, then we take them to a pot with plenty of water, put them on the stove over high heat for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Para empezar, y después de preparar todos los ingredientes, en un envase vamos a colocar con mucha agua los tomates, los lavamos muy bien, desinfectamos, picamos en dos cada tomate y le vamos a quitar todas las semillas, luego llevamos a una olla con abundante agua, montamos en la hornilla a fuego alto por un aproximado de 10 a 15 minutos.




Once the time has elapsed, remove the skin of each tomato one by one and set aside.

Transcurrido el tiempo vamos a quitar la piel de uno en uno a cada tomate y reservamos.



Chop the onion into half-moons, then add the oil to the previously heated frying pan, let it cook for a few seconds and add the dried basil, oregano and pepper, stir and set aside.

En la tabla vamos a picar la cebolla a media luna, enseguida llevamos al sartén previamente caliente, antes le agregamos el aceite, dejamos cocinar unos segundos y le adicionamos la albahaca seca, orégano y pimienta, removemos y reservamos.





We are going to add in the blender the tomatoes in part until we obtain a smooth and creamy mixture of tomatoes, until we reach the 24 tomatoes of this preparation.

Vamos a agregar en el vaso de la licuadora los tomates en parte hasta obtener una mezcla suave y cremosa de tomates, hasta culminar con los 24 tomates de esta preparación.




Once all the tomatoes have been blended and are completely homogeneous, add the other ingredients sautéed in the frying pan and blend until well blended.

Al terminar de batir todos los tomates y quede totalmente homogénea, agregamos los otros ingredientes sofritos en el sartén, batimos hasta integrar.



Once ready, transfer the tomato sauce to a pot, add salt and sugar, stir and heat for approximately 12 minutes.

Una vez que este listo trasladamos a una olla la salsa de tomate, en este momento agregamos sal y azúcar, removemos y llevamos al fuego por espacio de 12 minutos aproximados.







Our delicious homemade tomato sauce is ready, ideal to accompany our different dishes, or as you really want it, it was creamy to give a lot of flavor in our stews, pizzas, pastas, among others, giving color, flavor and acting as a thickener to our preparations.

After cooling, place in clean glass containers and refrigerate.
