Crafting homemade flavors and creating something unique are sources of pure joy. Today, I am excited to guide you through the process of preparing a delicious chili paste. A fundamental ingredient in numerous dishes, chili paste brings a fiery kick that enhances the flavors of our beloved meals. What's truly remarkable is that its appeal extends beyond its ability to add spice—it's also wonderfully simple to prepare. Join me as we delve into the steps of creating this flavorful addition.

Ingredients;

🍀 Crushed Chilli powder 100g.
🍀 A finely chopped onion or two.
🍀 1 tablespoons of tamarind liquid.
🍀 Salt as needed.
🍀 1 teaspoon of sugar.
🍀 1 teaspoon of soy sauce.
🍀 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce.
🍀 A piece of crushed ginger
🍀 A little bit of finely chopped garlic.
🍀 A little bit of finely chopped curry leaves.
🍀 Coconut oil 300 ml.

1 step.

First, take a pan and heat it with oil. Add finely chopped onions and fry them until they turn golden brown, just like shown in the following images.

Then put the fried onions in a blender and blend until smooth.

Once more, take a pan and heat about 2 tablespoons of oil. Add garlic and ginger to the pan, frying them until they attain a golden hue.

4 step.

Then, add the chilies to the mixture and mix thoroughly. If you find that the oil is insufficient, incorporate another tablespoon of oil. It's crucial to maintain a very low heat while preparing this. High heat can lead to the chilies turning black, altering both their flavor and taste – a situation best avoided. Remember, patience is key.

5 step.

Afterward, add the chopped curry leaves and the blended onions to the mixture. Mix everything well to combine the flavors.

6 step.

Then, include 1 teaspoon of sugar, along with tomato sauce, tamarind liquid, and salt into the mixture. Stir well to ensure all the flavors mix together. Once the chilies are fried to a desirable color, remove the mixture from the heat.
