Let's prepare curry powder, a essential ingredient for curries, fresh at home.

Good morning, my dear Hive friends. Curry powder is an essential ingredient in curry preparation. Today, I am going to share with you how to prepare curry powder at home without artificial sweeteners. It is made from all-natural ingredients that are both healthy and delicious. Curry powder holds significant importance as a spice blend. While it can be readily purchased in stores, there is a unique joy in creating your own, especially when it's free from preservatives. This blend of various spices and herbs can vary domestically. Let's explore how to make curry powder at home.

Required Ingredients...

🌶 30g cumin seeds.
🌶 30g fennel seeds.
🌶 100g coriander seeds.
🌶 Some dried curry leaves.
🌶 1 pandan leaf.
🌶 30g Mung bean.
🌶 2 - 3 cardamom.
🌶 2 - 3 cloves .
🌶 A little cinnamon bark.
🌶 About 8-10 dry chili pods.
🌶 20g Pepper seed.
🌶 10g fenugreek seeds.
🌶 A pinch of mace spice.

Method of making.

First, heat a pan on the stove. Then, add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and fenugreek seeds, and fry them until they turn brown. Transfer the fried seeds to a separate cup. (In the meantime, mix.)

Then add mung bean, fenugreek seeds and pepper seed to the reheated pot and fry for about 3 minutes and keep it separately.

Then fry the chilli pods / cardamom, cloves, cinnamon bark, mace spice / curry leaves & pandan leaves separately in the heated pot.

Next, take a blender and add the roasted spices to it little by little. Blend until you achieve a fine powder consistency.

Then, use a flour strainer to filter the well-blended curry powder.

This is the end result of making curry powder. The aroma of freshly roasted cumin seeds, the vibrant color of chilies, and the addition of black pepper contribute to its unparalleled richness.
