Warm greetings to everyone here, how are you all doing today I hope you all are doing wonderfully well.
So today a friend of mine gifted me with corn and the corn will not be enough for my hole family because is not yet season of corn here but is coming out little from the people that planted at swamp which is by the river side.
I have to cook it will something so that everybody will have a taste of it so I decided to prepare it with beans because beans is protein while corn is carbohydrates the combination is a very good one and healthy.
INGREDIENTS USED
3 cups of beans
2 piece of corn
1/4 cup of red oil
Salt to taste
1 medium Onion
1 tablespoon of dry pepper
5 stems of scent leaf
Water.
PROCEDURE
I will first select my beans by removing the spoilt ones and the chaff put in the pot add water and cook for some minutes I will now bring it down and wash.
I will now put my beans into my pot back add water and cook.
I will cook till my beans is almost done before I will add my corn.
While waiting I will remove my corn from the shells.
I will now wash my corn and add to my beans.
I will now add my red oil, salt and pepper.
I will now wash and slice my onions and add and stir very well.
I will also pick my scent leaf wash and slice and add.
Here my beans and corn is ready.
My protein and carbohydrates is ready
One thing about this meal is that is always delicious and healthy because one meal that contains two classes of food at a time please friends try this recipe you will enjoy it.

This is a very palatable combination, it's also very filling, just that it takes time to cook.
I will definitely prepare this when there's fresh corn 🌽 in lagos
