Proteinous food combine with ripe plantains

Greetings to my great community plant power vegan I greet you all is always an honor to be here and today I made dinner for the family of ten.
Three of my friends came visiting adding to my family of five and with my mother in-law who has been with me for a while because of her health issues, making the number ten.
So I have to prepare something that will be enough for all of us I quickly buy beans since I have ripe plantains in the house I combine the two together.
Plantains is a very sweet food and can be prepare in so many ways this time I choose to prepare my ripe plantains with beans and it comes out very delicious.

INGREDIENTS USED
10 piece of ripe plantains
6 cups of beans
1/2 cup of red oil
1 tablespoon of dry pepper
1 medium Onion
Salt to taste
Water.

PROCEDURE
This process is very simple and easy to prepare and I will explain step by step.

Step 1
I will first select my beans by removing the spoilt ones.
I will now put into my clean pot add water and cook and after some minutes I will now bring it down and wash.

Step 2
After washing I will put them back into my pot add water and cook I will cook till my beans became soft.

Step 3
I will now wash and peel my plantains and slice them into pieces and add to my beans once my beans is soft .

Step 4
This is the last step where I will be putting my ingredients.
I will wash and slice my onions and add I will also add my red oil, my pepper and my salt.

I will now give my food a very good stir and allow to boil for some minutes.
Here my food is ready.

Looking at this dish is very simple and tempting and is also rich in protein and vitamins and the taste is topnotch.
Am glad that both my visitors and my family enjoyed the meal.
