Warm greetings to my great community I greet everyone here as always happy and glad to write in this great community.
Today I made rice and beans separately and I have to make vegetable sauce for the rice and beans I made for Sunday.
Here on Sundays will always cook rice sometimes we make our rice special for consumption and that is why I made and add vegetables.
Rice is rich in carbohydrates
Beans is rich in proteins
Vegetables (pumpkin leaf) is rich in vitamins that is why my Sunday food is a healthy meal.
INGREDIENTS USED
4 cups of rice
4 cups of beans
1 medium Onions
4 piece of fresh pepper
Salt to taste
2 bunch of Pumpkin leaf
5 tablespoon of groundunt oil
Water.
PROCEDURE
This process is very simple and easy to prepare I will go with my rice first.
I will put my rice in a clean pot add water and parboil after some minutes I will now bring it down and wash.
After washing I will now put it back into my pot add water and cook I will allow my rice to be done.
Here my rice is done I will move to my beans.
I will first select my beans put in a clean pot add water and cook for some minutes wash and cook back.
I will allow my beans to be soft
Here my beans is ready.
I will move to my sauce.
I will first wash and slice my pumpkin leaf and set aside and wash and slice my onions and my pepper.
In a clean and dry pot I will put my groundunt oil allow it to hot I will now put my salt followed with my slice onions stir well and add my vegetables.
I stir very well and allow my vegetables to dry water I will now add my pepper.
