Today is a tiring day, preparing special dishes to be enjoyed is really boring with ordinary food isn't it. Well, as you know, I'm a chili lover, but sometimes enjoying chili that's too hot makes my stomach tired, and I have to discuss flavors that are too heavy. Because I wanted a taste that wasn't too spicy from chilies, this time I wanted to prepare chilies without being too spicy, using green chilies.

Green Chili Sambal Tempeh

Green chili tempe is one of the non-spicy dishes that I made, so usually Indonesian green chili sauce will have extraordinary spiciness. Because I serve spicy food very often, that's why I'm going to prepare tempeh green chili sauce with a savory, slightly spicy and of course sweet taste according to your taste. Here I will show you how to set it up.

Materials Used

1 board of tempeh
1 pandan leaf
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Ground Spices

15 green chilies
1 tomato
5 shallots
3 cloves of garlic

Cooking Steps


Steps 1

Cut tempeh in small cubes or according to your taste, add a spoonful of salt and let it sit for a while.

Green chili fried tempeh is ready to be served, you can enjoy this dish with warm rice. The resulting taste is very good, sweet, salty and very tasty. This is my favorite dish, I really like green chili sauce, usually I will cook anything to replace tempeh, like tofu or potatoes.
