Hi friends of the vegan lover community, cooking delicious menus as a side dish must always be innovating. Especially by utilizing makeshift materials that are widely available in the area where I live. Tempe, for example, is located close to a tempe factory which produces lots of tempe every day, so fresh tempe is always available here. Tempe is processed soy beans which have many health benefits. So even consuming it every day is very good, of course, with a reasonable portion.
Fried Tempeh Sauce

Today I will share with you one of my favorite recipes for processing tempeh as a favorite dish. Fried tempeh sambal is one of the must-have menus when holding various events at my house, apart from being used as a side dish in a side dish. Sambal Goreng Tempe can also be used as a side dish when nothing else is available at home.
Materials Used

1 board of tempeh
2 cm galangal
4 pieces of lime leaves
Palm sugar to taste
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
100 grams of peanuts
5 red chilies
Softened seasoning

2 Spring onions
2 cloves of garlic
4 red chilies
2 candlenuts
Cooking Procedure
Step 1
Prepare tempeh, cut tempeh into small pieces or you can cut it thinly, then add a teaspoon of salt and marinate in salt for about 5 minutes.

Step 2
Then fry the tempeh which has been marinated with salt until the tempe is golden yellow.

Step 3
Next, fry the peanuts in a little oil until they are cooked. Tips for frying the peanuts, don't use too much oil because they will burn quickly. So fry the peanuts with a little oil using only low heat.

Step 4
After everything is fried, prepare the ground spices then blend, blend until smooth. Then heat some oil and saute until fragrant.

Step 5
Then add the bay leaf and then the chopped palm sugar so that it can easily seep into the spices.

Step 6
Add sweet soy sauce and stir until evenly distributed. Then add the salt, stir gently so the salt doesn't clump.

Step 7
After the water starts to reduce or the chili sauce dries up a bit, add the pieces, chilies, lime leaves and galangal that have been crushed.

Step 8
Then cook for another five minutes or the chilies will wilt a bit, turn off the stove and add the fried tempeh and peanuts, stir again until evenly distributed.

Serving Suggestions

Serve fried sambal with hot rice, or you can also enjoy it with any kind of fried noodles. Very tasty, sweet, spicy and savory, very suitable to be eaten with any food, especially rice. This used to be a favorite menu when I was at school. But now because it's busy so it's very rare to prepare it.
