Today we return with another special activity from the Plant Power (Vegan) Community, the contest: “World Tree Day (Contest)”; and this is because World Tree Day is celebrated every June 28, a date that was celebrated for the first time in Sweden in 1840. This event aims to raise awareness among the population about the enormous importance of trees and forest resources in general.

As we have expressed on previous occasions, being vegan transcends diet. Being vegan means being aware, respectful and kind to our entire environment, it is a philosophy of life that means caring for, respecting and loving our only galactic home: Our planet. And this implies respect for ecosystems and different spaces and natural resources, and for all living beings that coexist with humans on planet Earth, including TREES.

To avoid confusion and misunderstandings, we will define what TREES, SHRUBS and GRASS are. We'll see:

TREES: They have a single trunk and are tall.

BUSH / SHRUBS: They have several trunks, which emerge directly or very close to the ground.

GRASS: They lack hardwood and are small in size.

For this reason today we call this contest, as a way to appreciate and value the importance of these fundamental beings for life to exist on the planet: TREES, which provide us with oxygen, shade, protection, food, wood and fulfill a fundamental ecological niche for the balance of nature.

World Tree Day (Contest)

For this contest we want you to present us with A TREE that you appreciate and value. This tree can be located anywhere: In your house, in your community, in a public place (square, park, etc.), in a field... the place does not matter. We also want to know:

• Give us an overview of when and how you learned about this tree.

• What is the common name and scientific name of that tree?

• What properties or uses does this tree have? (if it bears fruit, if its flowers, seeds, leaves, bark or roots are medicinal or food, if it is a logger, etc.)

• Why do you appreciate and value that tree, what makes it so special to you?

• Tell us if you give any attention or care to this tree.

CONDITIONS

• Only one post per participant will be accepted.

• Post must be published in this Plant Power (Vegan) community.

• Post must be published from INLEO front. You can help you with our tutorial to publish in INLEO

• Be original, without old content or anything plagiarized, without AI! (A position that engages in any of these practices will be immediately disqualified).

• You must include at least seven (7) photographs of the tree, but you must be in at least two (2) of those photos next to the tree.

• The post must have a minimum length of 300 words in English, (it can also be a bilingual post)

• Use the tags: #solarisfuture #veganlove in the first places.

• Engage with others!

This is a very special initiative for Tree Day to show our respect to all those essential trees that give us plenty of benefits. I will write lots about them because my education is based on this subject. But I don't know I have some photos with trees. but we have lots of trees sure.
