cooking Acehnese style cabbage

This white cabbage is delicious cooked in any way and is also delicious when mixed with other vegetables. But today I'm going to cook it without any other ingredients. Yesterday I mixed it with scrambled eggs, but this time I wanted to try cooking it alone.

The word "kol tecrah" comes from the Acehnese language and means "stir-fried cabbage with chilies." "kol tecrah" is very synonymous with funeral rites in our area. If a funeral rite is held, cabbage tecrah is served with equally delicious red cooked tuna.

This tecrah cabbage is very famous in our place, besides being cooked to welcome relatives when someone dies, this tecrah cabbage has also become our daily dish, I really like stir-fried vegetables like this, besides this tecrah cabbage is also very popular with the mothers here, there are many kinds of flavors that can be cooked with this cabbage, it can be cooked as vegetable soup, lodeh vegetables, stir-fries or others, you can look for the recipe yourself on the internet

Coincidentally, today I don't want to cook anything complicated, so Tecrah cabbage is my choice to cook this afternoon as a vegetable for our side dish.

Materials used

1/2 cabbage
10 green chilies
5 red chilies
2 shallots
1 tomato
Salt to taste
Mushroom broth to taste


Manufacturing procedure


First


First I started chopping the cabbage into small pieces and I also started chopping the tomatoes into small pieces too.

After all the ingredients were ready to be cut, I started to sauté the chilies, onions and tomatoes together until they wilted.

Third


After the chilies, onions and tomatoes wilted, I added a little water and salt.

After the water boils, I put in the cabbage and cook it until the vegetables are cooked.

This red cabbage is very delicious when eaten with fish sauce or salted fish, with a plate of warm rice, making our dish very delicious, mothers will definitely like it, it's a very simple dish, but once in a while eating food like this is okay even though it's simple, the important thing is that it's still healthy

So, for those of you who love red cabbage, or what I mean is white cabbage, don't forget to sauté it like this. A little advice for sautéing this cabbage is to use more green chilies than red chilies, so it won't be too spicy.
