hello everyone
Today I have a guest, she is my grandmother’s little sister. Or it can be called 'opung inong’ . She also includes my grandmother. She came to my house with her daughter. Her daughter is my aunt. she is still young and we also play together a lot. When they came, it was around 11:00 AM. Because while there is my grandmother's sister here who is very good at cooking. Be it heavy or light food. I asked my grandmother's sister to make me porridge bubur anak loba . Or you cloud say baby bee porridge. Quite rarely people know about this porridge . Only a few people know. On average, the majority of the Batak tribes know what is Anak Loba porridge. However, there are also those who say that this is a typical South Kalimantan baayak porridge. I know this is typical of North Sumatra. Maybe it's just a different name. It's pretty much all the same.

In the past, my late grandmother really liked to make this porridge, and this is also one of her favorite foods. She has a special mold to make this porridge. She made this anak loba porridge mold herself with coconut shells, then punched holes in it with a hot iron. Don't forget to scrape and clean the shell first before making the holes. Many say this is cendol porridge. Because of the manufacturing process and its shape like cendol.

Hi @sheliawati! Undoubtedly this is a very laborious recipe, but the result must be great, it is worth the effort to obtain a delight. I really like that utensil made in the coconut shell, it is very useful for this preparation and it is a natural strainer. This is a festive and really traditional dish. Thanks for bringing your recipe to Plant Power Vegan. Best regards.

It's quite difficult to make, but my grandmother still loves to make it…

Hello your recipe gladdens my heart because it is a family recipe not to be missed, thank you for sharing it with us.
I love the homemade utensil, I also have a coconut shell in my kitchen, but I use it as a cup or to cover something. They are very hard, how do you make the holes so perfect?

thanks for dropping by on my blog. and I don't know how my grandmother made this tool, it seems that the tool for making this porridge is older than me. my grandmother said she made with a hot iron.

Oh what a pity, well, someday you might find someone who knows how and share them with us. Best regards.

yes of course, thank you 🙏
