Boiled banana and ginger wedang

At the end of the afternoon in 2021, the weather should be warm because there is still some remaining sunlight at the end of 2021 but feels cold in the body, the wind blows bringing air cold enough to be able to pierce the bones. In conditions like this, warm food and drink is a panacea to keep the body warm, so it doesn't catch a cold easily.

A plate of warm boiled banana and a glass of ginger drink should be able to ward off this cold feeling. Ripe bananas will be able to prop up a hungry stomach because of the cold air, plus the warmth of ginger wedang with slices of turmeric to help the stomach avoid bloating and cramping due to the cold wind.

The spicy sensation of ginger and turmeric combined with the sweetness of palm sugar, plus sweet boiled bananas will make the stomach feel full, is a perfect combination to serve when the weather is cold and make the family togetherness even more felt. Even though it's only "village food" it's not like the worldwide pizza, but the point is togetherness.

let's boil the bananas. Put the water and bananas into a pot/pan, boil the bananas until they boil.

While waiting for the bananas to boil, I will take ginger and turmeric from my backyard. Besides planting in polybags, I also plant ginger and turmeric in used baskets. Because I grow it myself, I don't use fertilizer, so I feel safe to consume the ginger and turmeric.

The ingredients needed to make ginger wedang are :
ginger 3 fingers
turmeric 2 fingers
palm sugar 100 grams
water 1500 mL

how to make it:
The first step: wash the ginger and turmeric thoroughly so that the remaining mud attached to the ginger and turmeric rhizome disappears.

The second step: peel the ginger and turmeric skin.

The third step : Cut the ginger and turmeric into small pieces.

The fourth step: put water into the pot then add the palm sugar.
