I enjoyed your meta-narrative dive into this particular topic - quite brilliant as writing with a ballpoint pen would have committed you a bit more to stay with what you've written, or play waste-paper basket-ball with the screwed-up unsatisfactory beginnings...
I must say the W.A Mozart pen has aged well - at first I thought the sepia colour was the original colour of the pen. White does not seem right - sepia seems happier.
