In fact, it all depends on your perception. I will give an example. An acquaintance of mine goes to the hospital, and he is told "there are no places for new patients." But we changed two hospitals. Because we moved. The doctors had no problems with this place. That's why my friend says, "Slovakia has bad medicine." And I say that everything is fine here. This is how our perception works. Everyone has their own truth.

This country received us very well and warmly. And we appreciate that. Probably because this post will be more positive than negative.
Slovaks live slowly. For example, you can not come to the barber shop and get a haircut. You need to call and sign up. At first it is very surprising. And then you feel as it is convenient. No need to wait in line. You can plan your week normally.
Over time, you see this slow behavior as a kind of calm.
Slovaks like to drink. It is normal to drink strong alcohol with beer here. Both at home and at the bar. They often drink local alcohol Slivovitsa, Yablunitsa, Hrushovitsa. This is a home made alkohol made of fruits and berries. There are Palyanytsia in almost every village. This is a place where you can make home made alkohol from your fruits and berries. Such drink has 52 'degrees. Many people drink beer. Vodka is almost never consumed here.
On weekends slovaks grilled meat with friends and relatives. With all this, seeing a drunk on the street is a rarity.

Slovaks behind the wheel. They break the rules often. Violate the speed limit. I did not see any violations of parking rules or other rules. They drive mostly quietly. They often miss each other. Warn the police and the dangers on the roads. I feel calm and comfortable behind the wheel. There are no much Bentley and jeeps on the roads. There are of lots of Skoda, Peugeot and Citroen. Mostly they do not like to show their financial condition. The situation is similar in Austria.
Mutual assistance. It works here. The road will be suggested on the street. They will always help. And when you start speaking Slovak, but with an accent, you will get even more help. They like to be spoken to in Slovak.
Attitudes towards foreigners. Mostly it is positive. Especially when you speak Slovak. Slovakia is part of the European Union. Therefore, there are no problems with multiculturalism here. But remember that this is a country of Slavs.
Very clean and welcoming country. People here preserve traditional values. Mostly Catholics here. The attitude to the holidays is very serious.
Negative moments also happen. There are also rude people. There are also stupid drivers. But still this is not enough. And do not need more))))

Сьогодні настрій для ліричного посту. Як на Hive модно писати тег #thoughts . Добре, давайте подумаємо, згадаємо. Які ж вони, словаки? Злі чи добрі? Хороші чи погані?
Насправді все залежить від вашого сприйняття. Наведу приклад. Йде мій знайомий до лікарні, а йому кажуть "місць для нових пацієнтів нема". А ми змінили дві лікарні. Тому що переїзджали. Проблем з цим місцем у лікарів не було. Тому мій знайомий, каже "у Словакії погана медицина". А я кажу, що з цим тут все добре. Ось так працює наше сприйняття. Кожен має свою правду.
Нас ця країна прийняла дуже добре та тепло. І ми це цінуємо. Мабуть тому у цьому пості буде більше позитивного ніж негативного.
Словаки живуть повільно. Наприклад, тут не можна прийти до перукарні і підстригтися. Ви повинні зателефонувати і записатися. Спочатку це сильно дивує. А потім рощуміеш, як це зручно. Не треба чекати у черзі. Можна нормально розпланувати свій тиждень.
З часом цю повільну поведінку бачиш як своерідний спокій.
Словаки люблять випити. Запивати міцний алкоголь пивом тут нормально. І вдома і в барі. Часто п'ють місцевий алкоголь Сливовица, Яблуніца, Грушовица. Це самогон з фруктів і ягодів. Майже у кожному селі існують Паляниці. Це місце де ви можете приготувати самогон зі своїх фруктів та ягід. Такі нопої 52' градуса. Багато п'ють пива. Горілку тут майже не вживають.
На вихідних забираються та смажать м'ясо. З цим усім, побачити п'яного на вулиці це рідкість.
Словаки за кермом. Порушують правила часто. Порушують швидкісний режим. Порушень правил парковки чи інших правил я не бачив. Їздять в основному спокійно. Часто пропускають один одного. Попереджають про поліцію та небезпеки ґу на дорогах. За кермом я почуваю себе спокійно та комфортно. Мало на дорогах Бентлі та джипів. Багато Шкод, Пежотів та Сітроенів. В основному вони не люблять показувати свій фінансовий стан. Така подібна ситуація і у Австрії.
Взаємодопомога. Тут у працює. На вулиці підкажуть дорогу. Завжди допоможуть. А коли ви починан розмовляти по словацькі, але з акцентом, до допомогу ви отримаєте ще й більше. Вони люблять коли з ними говорять по словацький.
Відношення до іноземців. В основному воно позитивне. Особливо, коли ви розмовляєте словацькою. Словакія це частина Европейського Союзу. Тому з мультикультурністю тут проблем нема. Але пам'ятайте що це країна слов'ян.
Дуже чиста та приемні країна. Люди тут зберігають традиційні цінності. В основному тут католики. До свят відношення дуже серйозне.
Негативні моменти також бувають. Бувають і грубі люди. Бувають і дурні водії. Але все ж таки цього мало. І не треба більше ))))
