Nigeria is very big place which occupies different people with different culture. In nigeria more than five hundred and twelve languages and with different culture. What i mean by Nigeria is the heart of different culture is that it accommodation many cultures in one country.

We have three major ethnic group in Nigeria which are The Yoruba, The Igbo, The Hausa and also we have the minority group which are the Ijaw, Kanuri, Edo, Ibibio, Nupe, and the Tiv. And each of the ethnic group have their own culture that is how they do things. They have the way they dress, like the yoruba they wear dansiki, buba and gele. Different foods like tuwo made of rice, pounded yam Amala.

Our traditional music belong to homogeneous societies that have definite oral traditions. We have different songs in folktales, songs for different social activities such as marriage, funerals, songs connected with the installation of chiefs, songs connected with rituals, songs in which the history of the tribe is enshrined, or which tell of the exploits of its heroes.
What about the musical instrument. We have several types of flutes, string instrument, reed instrument, horns, gongs, rattles, drums of all types.
