Pues, actualmente, como ya dije no tengo hijos pequeños, pero tengo a mi nieto hermoso Asier, que me toca vivir con él su plan vacacional.Aquí no hay vacaciones de colegio porque mi nieto está pequeño para cumplir con la etapa escolar, pero yo me he reinventado cada día para hacerle su plan vacacional aquí en mi casa cuando me lo traen.Le coloco la piscina, y si no hay agua tengo una bañera pequeña donde él disfruta muchísimo jugar conmigo, me alejo entre rato para que el también pueda distraerse sin depender de mi presencia, pero por supuesto vigilándolo siempre desde cerca. Le encanta que juguemos al escondite, yo me escondo y el me comienza a buscar con los pasos que logra dar, me le escondo detrás de la puerta o el mueble y hasta en la cocina, que son lugares cercanos y fáciles para que me encuentre, y cuando me encuentra es una alegría inmensa.

Me encanta cantarle a mi nieto las canciones de mi infancia, le coloco música infantil tradicional, de esa que nos encantaba cantar, tener a Asier conmigo, ha hecho que yo desempolve tantas canciones que quedaron en mi olvido, juegos que ya no jugué más, pero debo adaptar las canciones y juegos a su corta edad que tiene, ya cuando vaya creciendo por supuesto que me dedicaré por enseñarle los juegos tradicionales que están en extinción.Yo me quedo admirada porque veo a los niños de ahora y quieren estar de cabeza metidos en un celular o una computadora, los padres de ahora no llevan un control de lo que ven y escuchan sus hijos, no se detienen a enseñarles la cultura de nuestro país, los juegos, la música. La otra vez hablaba con unos niños en diciembre y les cantaba los aguinaldos y me miraban como bicho raro, ni sabían lo que yo estaba cantando, ahorita me río porque recuerdo los rostros de los niños tan cómico, pero a la vez me da tristeza que nuestras raíces se estén perdiendo y gracias a nosotros los adultos por no dedicar tiempo para enseñar valores y cosas importantes.

Las vacaciones son espacios necesarios en especial para los más jóvenes que los estudios someten por mucho tiempo a un gran estrés! sin embargo, desde que comenzó la pandemia hace más de dos años y su posterior "encuartelamiento" son muchas las vacaciones que miles de venezolanos en este caso se tomaron por medidas de bio-seguridad de manera forzada y tal vez necesaria para evitar la expansión acelerada de un virus que amenazó a toda la humanidad.
