I can very well relate to this...
Times without number have I seen individuals and families who have very little to even belleful them still go ahead to share and give to a visitor... Even if the visitor didn't announce his or her coming before.
I enjoy reading every bit of this piece. And as the world is changing, I just hope this won't stop, and we will continue to show kindness and generosity to people.
