RE: Not Just shit Photos

📷🤔 As I said in my previous post, HIVE never ceases to amaze me.

This community makes a lot of sense.

We all have those beautiful but imperfect photos. Either the framing is bad, or there are elements that are left over and we don't want to manipulate them in Photoshop, or the incorrect light exposure that even created a curious silhouette.

These don't fit anywhere. Here, well argued, is a good point for photographic recycling.📸♻️

I promise to make an appearance, because I have many of these beautiful but imperfect photos.🫢

Sort:

Most of my photos are imperfect, a scan through my post feed will demonstrate that; but they're mine,as were the moments in which they were taken, and so I value them. I figured other people will feel the same about their own and thought this might be a good place for a few of those to post them.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

You are very self-critical. Relentless, even.
(As for that, we can create a club together😂).

Sorry but I don't agree. If all photography communities featured photos like yours, HIVE would be a perfect place.

My opinion is based on my knowledge, and I don't want to be nice to you. (I teach photography classes and I know how to analyze and criticize a photograph from different perspectives).

I can see some imperfections in some of your photos. But even these, I don't consider them bad.

Well then, aren't you a nice fellow, thank you.

I am very critical of myself in all things, and I have reasons for that which are not for Hive, but certainly with my photos I am. Still, as I said, it's the memories behind them that matter. I don't Photoshop them because each is a snippet of life, my life, and it's imperfect and so should my photos be.

I'm not interested enough in photography to learn how to get better, maybe one day when I've done some other things to the levels I need to achieve.

Thanks for your kind words, I greatly (and humbly) appreciate it.

The way I would describe your picture - trying to help here not to sound a smartass - is overprocessed; Too much saturation (sky looks fake), too much sharpness ( my eyes bleed from details).

Pretty nice picture otherwise; the angle is good, the sky is nice and the subject is cool!
