It is not unusual to see snow in April, May, June, September, October in Canada

It has also snowed in Canada during July and August ….

August Snow:

Alberta: In 2002, communities along the foothills of the Alberta Rockies experienced an unusual snowfall in August, with about five centimeters of snow falling during the August long weekend.

British Columbia: In 2019 and 2020, some snow was observed at the highest elevations across the province, even in July.

Fort Nelson, B.C.: The highest recorded snowfall Fort Nelson has received in August was five centimetres of snow on August 27, 1991.

Banff Sunshine Village: In 2024, Banff Sunshine Village reported the first dusting of snow on their Great Divide webcam on August 21st, 2024.

July Snow:
British Columbia: Some snow has been observed at the highest elevations across the province, even in July.
