I've been daring to jump into the coding part of claude code a bit today.

Played around with a rogue like survivor I've been meaning to get going but the funding hasn't allowed for yet.

Naturally we'd have the assets to do 3d at this point in time but that'd probably be a bit too difficult for the free version of Claude.

Think I'm already running into issues due to that so will probably get the premium version soon and test "coding" withe a different version that's known to be better at it.

Might be me adding too many of our existing assets also took too much space.

Either way, a day well spent, kind of. Still a lot of unsureness and uncertainty, but brick by brick, right? Or is it code by code or tokens by tokens?

Oh well. Just one of many minigames I have planned for the holozing universe, let's see if we can get one of them done before the flagship game is ready to launch!

Forfeiting half of the author rewards of this post.

Seems like it can do work in unity as well. Games are tough with Claude, you have to break down the functionality, build out a complete plan then smaller plans and implement step by step. seems like it does that quite a bit of pre planning by a human.

yeah, i'm just testing the waters atm, like the machine in the video :P

I guess once I start paying then having both claude and unity's ai dev assistant work together is the way to go

Wer going to do amazing stuff here on Hive. 😂

I thought the approach you showed in the video was really cool, but I was just thinking—I recently discovered the auto-battler genre through Rumble Arcade and I absolutely loved it. Have you ever thought about whether that could be the model for Holozing?

I think it could be interesting, at least in some kind of arena or something like that, the game would be an autobattler where you position your allies, devise strategies, each one has their own abilities or ultimate moves that they’ll use, and everything happens automatically, pure strategy.

I really liked this model a lot. If you want, take a look at my latest posts; there are lots of RumbleArcade videos—maybe they’ll serve as inspiration. Best regards.

There's quite a few games i have in mind, but autobattler has not been one of them, and not just cause thats the one game we have here on hive. :D

Haha, I get it! Well, I'm sure something amazing is coming to Holozing!

I also like to use AI for some small coding parts. The problem, for me personally, is that I am getting better at asking the right question to AI, but my coding skilss aren't improving. Too much code to run through, so I just see what the output is and if that is what I more or less do expect.
Still a great time to live in.

Not bad to be the free version, for more complicated things you definitely need the premium, expecially for a graphic boost

An other weird bug, if I pause the video and resume, then it won't resume sigh

That looks pretty good. Reminds me of old retro games.

Trying a little bit of this and that is actually great. No knowledge or skill is a invaluable.
Have a fabulous weekend.

I played around with the Google coding piece a bit, but I have heard that Claude is much better at it.

Looks like beneficiaries to @zing.fund didn't go through :(

ps. song is buried alive by a7x

The rogue-survivor idea’s got great potential with Claude’s assets.

Did you create this game?

just testing things for the first time, it's not much of a game yet :D

It's great, but it's a big step forward, you're trying, that's great, man.

adjusting rewards a bit on this as it got overrewarded and beneficiaries didn't go through for some reason
