A Sunday Out on the Lake – Family, Sun, and a Bit of Chaos
Sometimes the best days are the unplanned ones, when the sun is out, the lake is calm, and everyone’s itching to jump in. This Sunday was one of those perfect days. We packed up the boat, grabbed some snacks, and headed out for a day on the water.
You’ll see in the video, Mom (@myinnervoice) took the helm, absolutely in her element steering us across Lake Atitlán. The kids, @thebombkids, were all energy and adrenaline, climbing rocks, laughing, and daring each other to jump from higher and higher spots. Percy took things to the next level, pulling off multiple jumps from different cliffs and even the rope swing, fearless as ever.
I threw in some thrashy, high-energy music to match the vibe, the spray of the lake, the roar of the motor, and that mix of joy and chaos that only comes from a full family day outdoors.
It’s easy to get caught up in work and projects, but days like this remind me why we do it all, to make time for what really matters. Just being together, laughing, pushing limits, and soaking up the sun.

As you said, work life can be exhausting and very intense, so spending time with family like this is perfect for relieving that fatigue. The kids are really fearlessly diving into the water XD I don't have that much confidence in my swimming skills.
I enjoyed the video, I felt like I was there, it doesn't matter what you have, you don't need so much but that bound and joy that radiates in the faces of the family is more important than anything else.
