Welcome Back to the CBRS Podcast Episode 53
We kicked off this episode of the CBRS Podcast right here in the studio with @Minigunner and @ArtaKush. There wasn't a ton of news this time, but we jumped straight into spinning the Wheel of Names to pick @Hive-Echo winners.
Our first winner was @roswelborges, who took home 10 HIVE. Next up was @palabras1 with another 10 HIVE win. Then @maykit55 grabbed the third spot with 10 HIVE, supported by @threespeak. Winner number four was @onyiigift with the 10 HIVE prize, and finally, number five @adangwa also scored 10 HIVE. Congrats to all the winners! After that, we dove into the little news we had.
Exciting Hive Projects and Tools
We talked about @innopay, a cool tool developed by @sorin.cristescu that we heard about at the Aachen summit. It's designed to connect with Hive and make payments easy, especially for places like restaurants. Owners can add menu items to the app, generate a QR code, and let customers pay with Hive @Keychain. It's simple: scan, select what you want, and pay. We think it could expand to e-commerce too, where you add items to your cart and pay via QR instead of a traditional checkout. Paying with HBD and HIVE Online is a big step forward.
Then we moved to Hive Analytics updates from @themarkymark. He shared fun updates like how social activity VS HIVE Price. We discussed the psychology behind it and how true believers stick around no matter what, just like long-time users and content creators who keep posting on schedule.
Community Updates and Personal Stories
On a personal note, we chatted about our new 3D printer. It's set up but we're waiting for a friend to help calibrate it properly so nothing goes wrong. Once that's done, we'll start making fun stuff.
We also gave a shoutout to @theycallmedan, who's back after a tough time. Thanks to the Hive community and friends for the support. He came out stronger, learned who his real friends are, and now he's focusing more on health and family. Hive isn't everything, enjoy life and share it on the platform at your own pace.
We also mentioned the upcoming Hive @Keychain giveaway too. When it's posted, we'll help spread the word. So, if you have a project or news that needs a boost, tag us on X or Discord. We're here to help the community.
Wrapping Up with Events and Ideas
We reflected on @Hivefest that just ended. The aftermovies and images were awesome, showing unique spots like the huge Buddha in the mountains. It looked epic with everyone together in that peaceful setting.
Then finally, @Splinterlands has a new feature with "Fortune Entries" you get from chests when advancing leagues. Overall, you can earn up to five a day, but need the cheap "Fortune Pass" that costs 125 DEC, to claim rewards like gold and black foil cards. We tried it and didn't win much, but it's worth checking.
