A little throwback from the archives...
In late January 2012, Derrick Broze and the activist community The Houston Free Thinkers held a community gathering called For The Community. The Houston Police Department showed up claiming there was a noise violation and proceeded to violently drag Derrick to the police vehicle. This turned the situation even more tense as activists grew upset and an HPD officer pulled a shotgun.
