I almost came off the bike today—Ubud traffic is no joke, it’s actually dangerous out there. But that’s just part of the journey. In this episode, I’m getting into a proper routine at the boxing gym, eating at my favourite local spots, and I also went to see my masseuse; she’s an absolute legend with a heart of gold.
My wrist has been doing my head in for ages, and she completely fixed it in one session. Watching her face when I gave her a massive tip at the end just handing over more and more notes—she just didn't expect it. She’s an absolute angel and I’m so glad I could help her out.
I’ve left the UK for good. It’s become a terrible place to live—everyone is depressed and repressed under a tyrannical government that’s just rinsing the people for taxes. I had to get out while I could. I’ve got no real plan and barely any savings, but I’m doing this openly and vulnerably. From Mexico and South America to now living as an expat here in Bali, I’m sharing the real highs and lows of this spiritual journey. Can I actually make it as a YouTuber and earn a living out here? I’m just going for it to see what happens.

Hi there @englishmigrant, great to see another Brit joining Hive. There's a bunch of us here, and some living abroad as well but tbh not enough given the size of UK.
It's very difficult making a life as a content creator nowadays even when you're living in a low cost country, but it might be a tad easier on Hive than YT. There are some tricks to make this journey easier, starting with a good strong self introduction post. We get an awful lot of fake accounts on Hive because it's relatively easy to earn a few cents, so if the community can get to know you better and that you're legit, it's much easier for you to build your network going forward. I have a post pinned on my blog with tips for newbies, check it out when you have time, it will help.
