Even though I’ve never been the best creator, I’ve always seen the true value of what we’ve built in Hive, and it’s far beyond any price you could attach to it. In a world of corporate empires controlling the online space, we’ve survived as a cooperative community based entity, and carved out a unique space that’s truly ours. Something that most still think impossible, which is why I share your old hackermoon article about the takeover with so many people.
Currently I’m still working on a fictional story based on Hive, but it’s a revelation of skaters fighting back against the ai that took over the world. Ai drove skaters underground by affecting their social credit scores for skating, but then an anonymous hacker named Shredtoshi Gnarlymoto, gifts us the code to tokenize our stoke for skating, creating Stoken, and allowing skaters to survive outside the system.
I also have an idea that I could use some help with, involving connecting Hive to skateshops, to help compete against Amazon underselling with cheap knockoff boards, and keep the industry alive while onboarding them to Hive.
