Just hanging out on the side of the highway and thinking...
How bad is the bot problem on Hive?
How do we reward and let new creators know they are valued...While not giving those rewards to the bots?
Is there a way we can see the difference?
I'd love to hear your comments...
And oh yeah, I stuck a code word inside the #podcast for you to find...Find it, add the word to a comment and get some HSBI shares and higher upvotes!

It's a hard question to answer, and I think the value that they give is there. However, it is hard to tell what is a bot and now with technology improving. It makees me wonder, but I would still just upvote what you like.
i think we start seeing who is who on chain. the more engagement, the more we can trust accounts
Que viva cristo; 2corintios 5:17
Amen!
For me the authenticity of the post could determine if it is made by bot or a human and from there the value of the post should be decided
I think if the recognition and rewards are felt by the new creators they will know they have value on the platform
I think Snapie et al need a reporting / community notes flagging system like on X. If enough people flag an account, it will get labeled as a Bot. I don't mind bots as long as I know they are bots, because they still require resource credits to create and operate, which still provides a bit of value to Hive!

This is a problem we need to solve
indeed!
Humm!! I've been wondering 🤔🤔 you are one of the top best creators here on hive, but why don't you make use of commentreward? I mean for big creators like you?
i did a while ago. but have no idea how it works lol
I think you should try again
I think it is important that we establish clear mechanisms to differentiate between genuine creators and bots, ensuring that rewards are allocated fairly.
agree completely
I understand your perspective, but I don't share it. I don't see what's wrong with bots; they do amazing things, sometimes much more amazing than people. We all use automation in our daily lives to improve them. Soon you won't be driving that truck; you'll simply be reading a wonderful book while you travel.
Coding is advancing rapidly, and as with other human endeavors, we must adapt and use the tools ethically.
I dont think anyone would argue automation is a bad thing in itself..The issue is when that automation here on chain is rewarded more than actual flesh and blood human interaction and engagement
As for the trucking, oh I have max 5 years left before i'm out of a job lol
