If you missed my last post, I bought a new Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 and took a video of myself unboxing it and installing it to my car. After that, I took my car for a drive (any guess which shop I drove out of in the video? it exists in Australia too), took out the SD card at the end of the drive and copied the video to my computer. As you saw from the previous video of me installing the dash cam, I didn't really have to do anything to set it up. All the complicated settings are hidden away as there is no heads up display so I don't know how to adjust any settings yet. Here's just the footage of the out of the box settings with no adjustment.
You can see I start off the video in a carpark, so you can see what the footage is like in darker conditions. Pay attention to whether I can read the number plates as I drive past cars, as I guess you would want to be able to do that in a dash cam if there is an accident. You can see that there are some people walking past and how clear their face is in the dash cam footage. After coming out of the carpark, there was a lot of sun for 5 minutes, then some cloudy footage, which you can use to determine the clarity of the camera. Enjoy! You will also notice that there is no sound as I didn't press the microphone button on the dash cam, which would have enabled the sound.

This is quite clear. What's the capacity of the SD card? It would be cool to see the audio reception quality based on proximity.
