I had a really good experience with my first Garmin Dash Cam, so I decided to buy Garmin again. This is the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2. It does kind of make sense for me that it doesn't have an on screen display. Dash cams with an on screen display has always confused me anyway because it's basically what you see on your windscreen. In the past people who have sat in my car and saw my dash cams they thought the image was displaying what was at the back of the car.
Anyway this Dash Cam Mini 2 is super small I would say the size of it is about the same as my thumb (both height and width). It comes with 2 mounts that stick to your windscreen so if you change cars, you have a backup one, but if you change cars again you'll probably need to buy another mount for $20. It has 2 very simple buttons, a save button (if you have just had a crash or something crazy happened and you want to make sure the video is not overwritten - although it's pretty unlikely in such an event that you'll leave your SD card in your camera for longer than a day for the video to be overwritten) and a microphone mute button (in case you don't want to record sound).
It comes with 2 micro USB cables - a short one and a long one - so you have 2 options for how you want to cable manage it in your car. In this video I show you how I mount it on my car and it basically started recording automatically after I turned on the ignition.

Garmin is really a device that should be found in every car, and its recording and image-taking features caught my attention, and you introduced it very well.
thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it
I need to get one.
it's working well so far :)
