An amazing narrative of compassion and change occurred in the heart of Ghana, where having access to adequate medical care may be difficult. On May 1, 2023 during Hive Helath Outreach in Ghana, an old lady was identified with cataracts, a disorder that had progressively taken her eyesight, during a health outreach program organized by the Hive blockchain at Agona Bedomase in Ghana. As a result, she was asked to visit the hospital, where the in-house doctor advised her to see him for additional treatment. According to the in-house doctor at Hiveghana, the lady had acquired an immature cataract in her eyes.
The Hive blockchain through the efforts of @mcsamm & @collinz under the Hiveghana community gave her the gift of sight - free glass lenses and medicine - in a spectacular act of kindness. The documentary highlights the remarkable effect of Hive's contribution to the life of a Ghanaian old woman and emphasizes the importance of such gestures of compassion. The elderly lady in the Ghanaian community where the outreach took place thanked the hive and the whole hive ecosystem for giving her hope for brighter eyesight.
