What is in Menu today?
- Its Ragi ( Millet ) Dose
Millets are considered to be one of the healthiest food grain and in this sub continent Ragi is consumed as equal to Wheat bread.
What can be Made out of Millets ?
- Ragi Dose ( Pan Cakes)
- Ragi Rotti ( Bread )
- Ragi Mudde ( what do I say, Please ask uncle google )
And many such items but Ragi itself does not have any triggering taste. Its plain and tasteless
Ragi Dose
To make Ragi Dose little tastier, I used the below things
- Ragi flour
- Carrot ( grated)
- Cilantro
- Curry Leaves
- Chopped Onions
- Chopped green chilies
Mix all of them in a container with enough water to get a consistency of milk or a little thicker than milk. Add salt to it.
What goes well with Dose
It's always something spicy and for us its chutney. A coconut chutney made up of coconut chillies and few other ingredients

Oh yes the last few photographs are showing you bread slice and jam. That's just for taste if I miss out of Ragi taste. The plate also has some chicken pieces that were the leftovers from previous night.
