We all knew that this cyclone was near our island and had a big risk of hitting us…but no one from the governing body warned the population!
Thank god schools were closed and all kids were at home, but the working population were all at work this morning.
Around 9.30am things started to get bad and turned into worst hours later.
I managed to get back home but went through difficulties on the road.
Check out some videos I took while coming back home from work and also the cyclonic weather at my place.
I will write a post just after with some photos around the country.
We still have a hard night to pass through until the cyclone moves away from Mauritius.

As far as I can see, the situation is very serious, be very cautious, I hope that everything passes and does not affect you any more.
This catastrophic situation lasted for couple of hours and the results was unthinkable.
As far as I know, we have 2 men who lost their life due to this situation. Things are back to normal and the sun coming out too. The cyclone is gone now.
Time to rebuild until the next…
