Congrats, @bonnie30! I was two places to far forward today!

It looks like @pixiepost has found the answer, so all I can add is that they have far more odorant receptors than gustatory receptors!

Congrats to @bonnie30 :) WTG!

Honey bees have 170 odorant receptors. They help with kin recognition signals, social communication within the hive, and odor recognition for finding food.

Congrats @bonnie30 on the win and I have no idea Russell

Congrats @bonnie30

Yipee almost my weekend!!! Have a fun one everyone!

Congratulations, @bonnie30!

I would say that they have over 100 receptors...

Congrats to Bonnie (@bonnie30)!

With that many odorant receptors, maybe they need to invest in deodorant.

Congrats Bonnie!
According to https://savannahbee.com/bee-fact-odorant-receptors/:
Honey Bees have 170 odorant receptors!
Might be good to find the best flowers :)
Good luck for tomorrow!

Cool thanks for the win drone..

I would think bee have a ton of odorant receptors considering the job they have with so many different types of flowers and such.

Congrats to Bonnie for the win, and as to these receptors I will not go against Pixie, it is never a good idea.

Congratulations, @bonnie30! Here is another link for you. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/10/061025181706.htm
