The Hatikamrul interchange is one of the most important road junction in Bangladesh,located in Sirajganj district. It plays a vital role in connecting the northern and southern part of Bangladesh. This interchange links major highways such as the Dhaka-Bogura highway and the route towards Rajshahi and Rangpur.As a result, it is considered a key point for transportation and communication.
Before the development of this interchange the area often suffered from.heavy traffic congestion. Vehicles travelling in different directions had to.cross each other at the same level, which caused delays,accidents and inconvenience for passengers. During peak hours,long lines of buses,trucks,and private cars would create serious traffic jams.affecting both travelling time and fuel consumption. To solve this problem the government took the initiative to upgrade the junction in a modern interchange. The construction included flavours, better road design and improved traffic management systems.This development has significantly reduced congestion and made travel smoother and safer.Vehicles now move in different directions without interrupting each other,which saves time and reduces accidents. The Hatikamrul interchange is a major improvement in Bangladesh's road network. It has solved traffic problems, increased safety and boosted economic activities. This development shows how proper planning and infrastructure can bring positive changes to a country.
