It seems that most of the cryptocurrency world is intent on determining how projects are based upon market cap.

In this video I discuss how these can be misleading. There are other metrics we shold focus upon to get a sense of what is going on.

I believe you don't need a Hive acoount to play Splinterlands (without receiving the rewards)... I don't remember exactly what Matt said, but not everyone who joins Splinterlands currently / in the future might have a Hive account. If I remember correctly, he said only active users will, and then specified that only users who buy a spellbook will. Don't remember exactly if this is currently implemented, it is a plan or just an idea.

The reasoning behind the measure would be to not use claim tickets to create Hive accounts for dead players, who only join and do nothing else.

The HIVE blockchain and the applications built upon it are extremely undervalued. I salute the marketing efforts of everyone that promotes our blockchain. This video you have shared is a fine example.

Fads come and go, flashes in the pan. @splinterlands, @threespeak, @leofinance, @risingstargame are just a few of the use cases for HIVE. We are fast, we are resiliant, we are passionate as a community. Folks leave and many come back! This is the story of HIVE.
