One of the more interesting things about the road map for the SpkNetwork is the idea of a proposal system which will be a DAO.
In this video I discuss how we could see this model duplicated over and over on SpkNetwork, generating a self-funding mechanism for committees. This would mean that VC money is no longer required.

Note: The "account management system" mentioned in SPK network docs is a combination of Hive and Ceramic accounts for on chain and off chain text storage.

Yes. And this is already possible through Hive Engine - anyone can start a community with their own smart-contract-based token, with their own DAO, and their own incentivized liquidity pools. I don't know why more people aren't taking advantage of this. It would seem that adding a DAO to your community would instantly make your token more valuable and it would decentralize and strengthen the community, and increase the scope and pace of development.
Hive-Engine certainly offers that service and there will be more ways to do it.
We are just seeing the increasing of offerings taking place.
