Everyone's favorite economist is at it once again. Nouriel Roubini was a harsh critic of Bitcoin at $60. Now, after a run up of who knows what percent, he is still at it. Next up, how CBDC are going to make cryptocurrency obsolete.
In this video I discuss how the likes of Roubini really do not get it. It is not about the capabilities of a system, but the trust in it.
Here is the article mentioned:

I don't get Roubini's world view. His parents were Iranian Jews. What the ayatollahs did to the birth country of his parents should've rung a bell. Instead, Roubini became a fan Keynes and thus centralized solutions.

Academicians speak theories instead of practice and this way they don't inspire trust in anything they are saying. The reality beats the movie so why would anyone listen something like that?
I see others impotent speakers that simply cannot admit when they are wrong, there should be one way to downvote them. They might be looking stupid, but I think they had their own doings and goals in mind and simply enjoy putting others on the wrong paths.

People can say what they want. We are free to critique them.
That is the wonderful part of a platform like this.
It is why censorship is such a bad idea. Idiots dont need to be censored since, if they are truly idiots, what they are saying will be figured out by most.

How Andreas Antonoupolos once said?
If I could (somehow) rename the Bitcoin network - the very best name for it would be ... TRUSTNET
