In this video I recount my time on Hive and how I forged ahead.
I did not come to Hive with a strong social media presence. Nor did I have extensive blogging in my background. Nevertheless, I was able to find a niche and achieve success on Hive.
With things expanding on the platform, I am able to get involved in many different things. This is all leading us towards the Metaverse, a time which will make our present digital age look analog.
The point is anyone can be successful on Hive if he or she follows some basic principles.

That is definitely an interesting story and I didn't know what HIVE was like in the beginning. At least when I joined, there were already HE tokens but it definitely took time for me to learn. I actually think you learn the most when reading other people's content as they give you a separate view of things.
I really should make more posts but I feel like I prefer commenting more than I do writing up an actual post. This is why I am waiting for Project Blank to be released.

H-E was a huge breakthrough when it was added. The idea of getting more than just Hive on a payout was unheard of. However, it was in line with what I had been saying. The tokenization was going to happen at some point.
Here we are, probably two years later, and there are a ton of choices. Yet, in the end, whatever people choose, it adds to their bags.
Each of us has a different view on things and talents. Many cant stand to write long form. I agree with you, ProjectBlank will add in ways we never thought of.

A basic model for success in any field. Dont compare yourself to everyone else but how you are as compared to yesterday. Did you improve? If they answer is yes, then probably a successful day.

Great video lots of truth. To me the biggest value you provided is always finding out new developments and talking about them. There are so many things going on on hive it's hard to keep track, but you do this in a great way. You helped me get into leo as early as I did, find disregard fiat etc etc
It is getting tougher and tougher to keep track of. We are now to the point where it is impossible to be up on everything. There is so much taking place with development.
In that end that will be of great benefit to all of us. The next few months will be really exciting. The CubFinance was just one of many projects that people on Hive will be able to tap into.

I agree. I gave up on trying to find out everything. I am also accepting to miss out on some stuff, even if it's on hive. I am happy with my stake and I got much more on exchanges. Will accumulate in the next bear market.
I remember the slider and got a delegation so I could use it. Comments are the way I grew as I was noticed. It is the only weapon you have when you are that small. You are correct in saying never look at others and concentrate on your own growth. You mentioned you had been on here nearly 4 years now and you have become an influencer on here now which does inspire others. We just keep growing staying busy.
Commenting is formidable. It is the way you build up a network when you're starting out with nothing. Dropping quality comments is the way to do it. And it really works. Not right away but eventually.

It is how you can separate yourself from the masses. A lot of people miss this point.
If all newer people would do 10-15 comments a day, their experience on here would be totally different. I know many run into HP issues but if one is truly interested in doing that, we would delegate the HP required.
Sadly most do not seem interested.

Yeah joined in August 2017, so about 3.5 years.
People often ask me if I set goals on here. The answer is no. I just put my head down and get busy. I write up posts, make videos, and comment along with doing research.
I let the chips fall where they may if you will. I know my activity will lead to results in the long run.

Yeah my problem has always been sticking to it. Originally got involved with Steem in 2017 and switched over to Hive the day it went live. It’s difficult finding time for me to fully commit but going to try to dedicate more time to it. I would always disappear for months then come back. Now with LeoFinance and everything going on I want to be more involved. I really believe in the project.
