In this video I ask people to count up the number of devices they have which have processors and compare that to 10 and 20 years ago.
This shows how things are both exponential and accelerating.
In this video I discuss how this trend is going to keep growing as we proceed through the decade. As this accelerates we will see the deflationary pressures increasing.

Things are moving quickly and just by looking at what we use around us it shows. Jobs are goin to disappear slowly in areas where work forces can be replaced. People will dig their heels in but it is inevitable as this technology and AI moves forward. The States is leading this field as I read somewhere that they have 80 percent of the top institutes for science and technology.

The US does have the schools although the ones they are educating tend to be from other countries. Many come from China to get educated and then return.
We are going to see a great deal of change in the next decade. It is time for everyone to understand the pace of progress. This is especially true when investing.

technology advances twice as fast with every passing year. It takes less and less time to create ever more evolved objects.
I am very intrigued and even a little afraid of what will happen in 20/30 years.
I hope I can be there to find out with my own eyes

It will be be really hard for us to imagine right now.
It is akin to those in 1980 being able to comprehend the Internet when the personal computer wasn't even in the scope of most people.
The innovation will be truly amazing.

Technology is improving exponentially now we have more feature on smartphone then satellites back then
Very true.
We also have more processing power in a smartphone than the largest computers had 30 years ago.

So true
We also have phone become smaller than back then with more power

Isn’t that typical of technology though? Well, it’s certainly valid enough. No one has the stamina of perpetual vigilance. Everyone needs this kind of reminder. Thank you for sharing.

Yes it is.
However, the difference these days is the magnitude and breadth of the technologies we are dealing with.
That is putting on a path of not only exponential but also accelerating progress.

You speak the truth. Crypto is an obvious example. I just hope the powers that be don’t screw it up. I don’t mean this platform though. By “they” I mean governments.
One example is the development of AI and military applications. I started writing an article about how the Air Force successfully tested an AI copiloting a U2 spy plane. There are also plans to test air to air combat between a human pilot and an AI driven drone.
People seem to be ok with this path

My nephew is 21 now, he grew up having a computer, a mobile phone, tablet and video games, you name it. He often asks me how life was before he was born and he's shocked to hear how many things we didn't have back then.
Yeah, life is changing at breakneck speed and what's good today is already outdated tomorrow. I can't even imagine how life will look like in 2030 or 2040.
