In general, I believe that much of the problem lies in weakness.
Unfortunately, it is quite common to see people who constantly ask for help to the constant problems that life presents us, and no, I am not saying that asking for help is wrong because we all need help at some point in our lives; but expecting the people around us to be there for us in the face of any adversity is also a thought that denotes weakness.
Do we have to wait for a tiger to devour us instead of simply preparing ourselves to face it if the time comes? Why not make ourselves stronger to prepare for adversity? We cannot wait for someone stronger than us to fight a battle that is ours.
I don't so much share the thought about the people around you not being interested in your problems, and that's because I personally consider myself to be someone quite "empathetic" who tries to help in any way I can any close friend who is going through a tough situation, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks that way, so I guess it has to do a hell of a lot with the type of people you relate to, and at the same time the type of person you are. After all, you are what you attract.
Cryptos are here to stay, but we also can't be useless people who won't know what to answer when someone asks us "Why cryptos are better than banks?". People are constantly becoming more dependent on further intelligence, just look at what is happening with AIs: People making content thanks to an AI because they can't make their brains work to make content in Hive, what are we reaching? Technological progress, but a lag in our capabilities as an individual? What do we have brains for if we want all our work done by a third party? Despite all this, I believe that easy times create weak men, and weak men will create hard times; and I'm sure I shouldn't finish the sentence.
Anyway, we will overcome any adverse situation. The important thing in life is to know how to overcome every obstacle that comes our way, and if we decide to run away from our problems, the weight of our decisions will soon fall on us.
I hope you are well, Dan. You have been with us for a long time and were an important pillar when we moved to Hive.
