The problem with AI swarms and databases that can change is that the owner of the website can change the content and the behavior. So it makes sense to have it distributed.

But, if hive is gay with inflation on 1000 other places and has no additional value, its easier to fork the important sections, leave curation, rewards, and all that shit out, and have a neutral layer of information.

Is up to the whales; they can kill it or not. But coders are in 99,9% of cases not the best business people. Is most times, people expect them to be smart. But they are not.

Curation is retarded by design and should not be the core anyway. it should make like 1% of the chain and not everything around it. Eyeballs is money, not some retard likes a post.

Rewards are necessary. Curation rewards are not.

And the critical value Hive creates is bringing the eyeballs, creating content that brings viewers and new users to the platform. Everything is instead stripping all value by the ~36 whales that suck all the rewards from the platform because they have a bare majority of stake. This is the fundamental underlying flaw that has deranged curation, misapplied rewards, and caused Hive to dwindle to ~2000 users while social media became the largest financial sector in global markets.
