We are impermanent, and cannot prophecy that future utility can outweigh existential present need. DNI Gabbard shares responsibility with Hegseth and his troops, as well as with Trump, for the murder of ~170 schoolgirls by not preventing allowing AI to pull the trigger - as Anthropic insisted was necessary, before being excoriated and labeled a threat to the USA for that insistence - or resigning before that crime lay on her head. Regarding Col. Davis' assessment of putting boots on the ground, the terrain is only a natural advantage Iran has. I find the more I see writing from AI, and artwork produced by it, the less I care about it and it's abilities to mimic the human produced content it is trained on. It is the utility of AI to parse large databases, to provide maintenance schedules and do checklist tasks, like troubleshooting equipment, diagnoses, and automating production of tabletop means of production, and coordinating multiple such tools to support independence, as well as coding and engineering hardware circuits, that increasingly interests me.

About the lack of oil / gas - Australia had a few of its tankers turned back - all of a sudden - so its not looking good. About AI art, I am the same - it will be very hard for it to make anything interesting - of course it does, but that is only because it leans, in terms of art, art that already exists. LOL We're pretty easy to brainwash, and when we start being brainwashed from birth, it only gets easier over time. Look at my above recantation of my thoughts on that Yahu's disappearance. The worst part of being brainwashed is refusing to acknowledge being wrong, and changing our minds to become right when we find out we're wrong. 'When an honest man finds out he is wrong, he either ceases to be wrong, or ceases to be honest.' That is very relevant to the matter, and most people prefer to be wrong than honest.
