What Has Been The Most Valuable Lesson, You Have Learnt In Life?
Life is full of lessons, sometimes we let them pass us by and other times we embrace them. Every difficult moment we experience, brings with it an opportunity to learn. Indeed we sometimes find ourselves, experiencing similar situations, because we still have a lesson to learn.
This latest question, provided an opportunity for everyone to share, one of their most valuable life lessons. One thing I love about this platform, is the diversity of people that share their content on here. Allowing us to take a glimpse into their lives and share in some of their wisdom.
There is no denying, that we have so much to learn from one another. So it is important to provide opportunities, in which we can share our experiences and create better understanding better us all, as we move forward.
We had over 20 responses to this question and I chose to highlight a few of those wonderful responses in this post. In the spirit of Abundance one of those writers will receive 20% of the payout of this post. Chemo for Sister #3 - Too Late to fight cancer with exotic fruits?
@carolkean
CANCER
The C-word, the one word that strikes the fear of God in our souls.
One in every three Americans will fight it. How many win the fight? How many succumb to the assault on their life at the cellular level? How many survivors do TED talks telling us how they pictured their immune systems working at the molecular level to heal: Body, Heal Thyself! And it works; their tumors shrink. They walk again, run marathons, win bicycle races (Lance Armstrong).
Abundance.Tribe's BiWeekly Question - What Has Been The Most Valuable Lesson, You Have Learnt In Life? - We Deal With Pain Differently.
@olawalium
Life will either bless you or busy you, someone once said. It's not what others say about you that matters but what you say to yourself when others are done talking. The pains and hurts that I have gone through in life have opened my eyes to so many things. I have learnt resilience and patience from the things I've gone through. Life is filled with an abundance of lessons but most people are not learning because they are reacting rather than responding.
LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT IN LIFE!
@coolkris
Self-belief is the most important lesson I've learned in my life. Have faith in yourself and your ability. Do whatever you want in life with the confidence that you will attain it to your full capacity. Never mistrust your own abilities. Your prospects of success will be ruined if you have self-doubt. It is your own self-perception that is important. Don't listen to what others have to say about you, brother. Concentrate on your life's major objectives.
Life Might Be a Little More Complex | Abundance Tribe Biweekly Q
@chinyerevivian
You know these two phrases; what you see is what you get and the more you look, the less you see. I believe both of them work hand in hand but most people do not realise this. The first one, I've seen play out on many occasions. That first thing you see, better believe it is what you're getting.
The second phrase comes in here when we ignore what we see at first. That's why when we get familiar with something, we tend to forget what our initial thoughts about that particular thing was. When we look more, we actually see less. I hope I'm not confusing anybody. LOL
People Show love in different ways
@opeyemioguns
As a kid, you'll never know what life really is, you'll never know why you are where there, you'll never know what it means to come to this world or why you are even in this world or why you are a member of the family you belong to. That's me, I didn't really know what I really am till my teenage age and it's not because of anything, it's because I wasn't brought up with love.
My Most Valuable Lesson In Life - Abundance.Tribe's BiWeekly Question
@trucklife-family
The most valuable lesson, I have learnt in life, is something that I already write a lot about, but then again it is something, that perhaps we do need to be reminded of a lot more. We can get so consumed by other people's stories, that we can sometimes forget to create our own, or more importantly, to even realize, that we all hold the power to create our own.
Abundance.Tribe's BiWeekly Question - What Has Been The Most Valuable Lesson, You Have Learnt In Life?

@nayromero
First of all, I consider that it has not been just one but several in different circumstances and situations throughout my life and I really consider them all valuable because they have made me a better person and have helped me to continue fighting and improving despite the stumbling.
To Know the Breath: One of the Valuable Lessons I Have Ever Learnt
@riverflows
The most valuable lesson I've ever learnt is to breathe.
Ah, you laugh, I know. Breathing is just what we do. A baby doesn't need to learn to breath, but simply breaths. The universe fills the space of our lungs, we exhale, and over and over again the process repeats.
Sixteen times an minute, on average.
960 breaths an hour. 23,040 breaths a day. 8,409,600 a year. 672,768,000 breaths in eighty years, give or take.
Change is Necessary: The Most Valuable Lesson I Have Learnt In Life (Abundance.Tribe's BiWeekly Question)
@vikbuddy
Change is Necessary. We need to and had to keep changing ourselves for good and be the better version of oneself. There is no need to be stubborn or egoistic in life, we don't have to be always perfect. Don't overburden yourself being the best, it's ok to keep learning from the mistakes and improve yourself.
I would like to share with you a few reflections about change.
Thank you very much for the mention, congratulations to all who participated, excellent lessons and reflections, we all have something to be thankful for.
Thank you so much for this opportunity to share and the support. It means a lot.
Thanks you so much
Thank you for the mention! I really need to revise that post and focus on the LESSON LEARNED part, but the news of my sister's diagnosis was just too recent, too raw. Just overhwelming.
The time to eat that fruit is NOW, before cancer strikes. Is that the #1 most important lesson of my life? Probably not. There's LEARNING TO LET GO, to live and let live, to be, and as @riverflows reminds us, to BREATHE.....
Wisdom, wellbeing, philosophy, health - good tags, all of them, and so many lessons to learn, to REMEMBER (how many lessons do I just keep forgetting!), to internalize.
Thank you @abundance.tribe for your contributions to this community.
