A memoir
As I have written in previous articles the key of beliefs is extremely important for reality creation. Here, you can identify some of the beliefs that govern your way of action in life. These beliefs are the fundamental stances that create your reality. When you identify a belief that you find personally impeding, you may want to uproot it in the ways I have explained in chapter # 39 and then to replace it with a more appropriate one.
I deliberately included some world-views that seem to be not related to relationships because sometimes it is easier to identify impeding beliefs from a neutral perspective.
The Beliefs
- I am not allowed to ask my spouse to fulfill my needs
- Love causes disappointment
- I do not deserve to be financially abundant
- I do not have to do a thing; someone else will take care of me
- Everybody hates me
- I am useless; a nobody
- In a relationship one has to give up one’s individuality
- My wants and wishes bother other people
- Lots of money brings lots of worries
- Sex without love is wrong
- Love is worrisome
- My environment should change
- What was done to me is unfair
- I am not responsible for my actions
- I am limited by commitment
- Everyone takes care of themselves
- Dealing with money is dirty
- I must not enjoy sex
- Love causes anxiety
- The future will be worse
- I am not well rewarded for what I do
- I am a looser
- Relationship impedes creativity
- I have no patience to listen to others
- Those who deal with spiritual business should not deal with money
- Sex is meant only for procreation
- Love is pain, suffering and agony
- I must not take risks
- Life is cruel to me
- I am inexperienced
- Relationship impedes freedom
- It’s better to be alone
- It is not honorable to make money
- It is forbidden to masturbate
- Love hurts and disturbs
- The unknown future is scary
- I have to comply with the situation
- I am a coward
- Relationship restricts
- It’s better to be quiet and say nothing
- It is impossible to make money honestly
- I am not sexy enough
- Love causes me the fear of being abandoned
- It is forbidden to be selfish
- I am always guilty
- All the other people know better than I do
- I will have a better life with someone else
- No one understands me
- To make a lot of money one has to cheat
- The size of my sexual organ is important
- Love is jealousy
- I must not change or else I might loose society’s love
- It is forbidden to ask things for myself
- I believe in superstitions
- It is not fair that everything depends on me
- Everyone hates me
- A man who loves money is corrupted
- How my body is shaped has an importance
- Love strangles
- I must never refuse or else I would not be loved
- I should feel secured and comfortable
- I am destined to hurt people too often
- Most spouses cheat on their partners
- There is no such thing as ‘good friends’
- I prefer to give up the money than ask for the debt to be paid
- I have sexual problems
- Love chains and invalidates my freedom
- It is better for me to give than to receive
- I am not worthy
- I must not express my wishes
- My spouses have never understood me
- Everybody is against me
- It is better to give money than to ask and receive it
- I am sexually inferior
- Love is only giving
- I am afraid that people might envy my success
- I don’t have enough time
- I should be thoughtful
- My spouses have always wanted only my body/money
- I am always right
- I also enjoy life with no money
- I am responsible for satisfying my partner
- It is possible to love only one person
- Everything is wrong
- My fate is fixed
- I may fail and I must not fail
- Relationship is a disaster
- People are generally not willing to help and support
- I am also secured with no money
- I have sexual perversions
- It is possible to love only those who love in return

- This is who I am and it’s impossible to change

- It is not allowed to have sex in certain ways
- It is impossible to love everyone
- It is impossible to release the past
- I do not have capacities
- I do not see a solution so I should cancel my wish
- No body loves me
- There are people with different qualities
- It is forbidden to ask money from other people
- I must reach an orgasm when I make sex
- It is impossible to love like in the first love
- The past has much meaning
- I do not have any alternative to act differently
- What I want is not good enough
- I do not know how to love
- There are people who worth more than others
- I don’t have money and will never have
- Homosexual sex is wrong
- I do not know what love is
- My parents/teachers are to blame for everything
- I can do nothing
- What I want is too ambitious
- I am not suitable for a relationship
- Most people are exploiters
- I am hopeless when I find myself in situations beyond my control
- I am hopeless because I am subject to events from past lifetimes (Karma)
- When I get older I will become weak, sick and powerless
- My existence depends on my body and its experiences; when I will die my consciousness will die with it.
- Money is evil. People who have money are greedy and less spiritual than the poor. They are less happy and snob.
- I am not creative and have none imagination whatsoever.
