"So, what round of civilization is this anyway?" | Abundance Tribe's Biweekly question about important areas of research

in Abundance Tribe3 years ago (edited)

The most rewarding things can be found in places where we never bothered to look. I have been amazed about the things I found, the discoveries I made and the implications that resulted after digging into a rabbit hole that I had never considered to be a rabbit hole - until someone out in internet land had mentioned it.

The most life-changing concepts and findings are buried precisely where we tend not to look anymore, because we are so well trained and conditioned to think that everything on the respective matter has been said.

Instead of looking for the most shocking or controversial I often find it is best to look for a red thread as it is said in German, to find something that can start to unleash this avalanche of curiosity and open-mindedness in the inquirer when confronted with irreconcileable details noone has ever pointed out to us...

Cilizations before ours?

One of the most astounding areas I feel somewhat late to is the idea of the existence of civilizations before the one we find ourselves in. I had long considered materials by Graham Hancock and others citing evidence for a long forgotten advanced civilization like Atlantis that may have built the pyramids and ancient monuments all over the Earth. But I never gave it much thought beyond that, never gave the idea much thought that so-called Resets may have happened many times before our day and age, and that we are only the most recent round of humanity.

Recently though a group of researchers have started asking some really basic questions about the history narrative we are presented with and uncovered rather peculiar anomalies that do not add up, relating to the untold history of America, and really humanity as a whole.

Some of the aspects that seem most fascinating aong this topic is the idea that much of the architecture in North America seems to be much older than we have been led to believe. That many of the old maps depict features that are no longer present today and really a mountain of other discrepancies between the staight-forward narrative we grow up with about America and the little details we can find that say otherwise.

The narrative of settling this vast realm, dealing with shortages of supplies and overcoming the initial challenges of settling a new and "untouched" continent do not go well with seeing incredibly complex and sophisticated architecture emerge mere years or decades after. When you start building in a new land you do not go and build cathedral-like monuments. You have other things to be doing, let alone that the skill, materials and tools necessary for such an undertaking might simply not be present yet.

To make it short: The narrative we are given does not seem to plausible the more we think about it and the more evidence we see.

And so what started as a curious anomaly has turned into a real brain twister, because the more architecture I see supposedly stemming from an era of a relatvely young united states, the more I find it unreasonable to presume all of it could have been built with ease on the side on such a vast scale in such a short amount of time..

I do invite anyone who - like me - has not yet dug into the channel of Jon Levi to do so with an open mind. His video library forms a rather unconventional picture and the videos are graphic, calm and peaceful - showcasing some of the greatest work of architecture reminiscent of Roman or Greek temples - right in America. I mean look at this place, is America really what you think of when you see this?

This is taken from the 1893 world's fare in Chicago - a world exposition built on more than 600 acres within the scope of a mindnumbing three years.

When you see these buildings and you think of the story we are always told about America, its struggle to settle the wide country and all the challenges present, do you really feel it likely that such a massive architectural undertaking would just be torn down afterwards?

Edit: I just got done watching a Levi video about the story of San Francisco and I felt it represents the channel even better than the Chicago video I had linked here ealier, so please allow me to share this mindblowing gem as a perfect starting point for this topic:

The entire channel is really worth taking a look into, exploring where curiosity will take you. The more we consider the more it seems we have really missed a glaring piece of the puzzle for way too long, namely that there may have been highly advanced people on Earth shortly before this era and that somehow they have been forgotten and disappeared...

It's all ideas at this point, and conclusions seem too far off to be made yet but it surely is fascinating, maybe you will feel the same way.

You can find Jon Levi's channel here, I totally recommend it! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5vXBfxN7rxKeJHJxS8dNDw

A great response @paradigmprospect, there is so much that we do not know and I have for a long time now, realized how much we have been lied to about our so called history. Thanks for introducing me to John Levi's channel xx

aye this poses such fascinating questions. cheers <3 <3
