So Hive will power the entire internet? That is easy. We need things like Google, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and other things (and billions of people using them) on the Hive blockchain. Piece of cake, right? But seriously. Would the Hive blockchain be able to handle that? All of these would take a lot of resources.
Very good point. As in mention 'an' -one out of many, I actually just fathomed the idea that most likely an internet of blockchains if it isn't already, could soon be a reality. The idealistic idea of community governance is pursued by many foundations currently building DAO's that will power these future economies. I mean censorship is just a very real thing? Hive already powers an internet. It's just so difficult for many to see this, considering that we access it through the internet. One that technically works on our pool of witnesses. A very awesome choice of people that all share one philosophy, can agree to disagree but have a dream of liberty and freedom. I think if everyone would buy a node who has the ability, there would be no need for all the central companies you just listed. We don't need to onboard people fast. It happens organically. Others just stay stuck in the matrix or repeat what they did without realising that things work different here. I also think that this dPoS system will undergo some transitions. Specialized but very scalable hive is a very overlooked web3 technology that's fun and really has the community that can pull it off.
